Thank you for your interest in Volunteering

Volunteering is a vital part of who we are at Watertown Christian Church. We’re so thankful for the many hands and hearts that serve each week. Your time and gifts make a lasting impact. Getting involved is a great way to grow in faith, build community, and live out God’s love in action.
If you’re interested in serving, we encourage you to connect with the leaders of each team, shadow them, and explore the volunteer opportunities we offer. We’re so glad you’re here and can’t wait to see how God works through you!

Wednesday Night/Youth Group

Sack Lunch Prep

Our Sack Lunch team helps prepare and pack lunches for those in need of a little extra care and nourishment. It’s a simple but powerful way to serve others with love and hospitality. You come 30 minutes to an hour before youth group and prep the lunch bar. If you’d like to join this team, connect with Kristina Johnson to learn more.

Sponsors

Sponsors play a key role in shaping the next generation by helping teach, lead, and mentor our youth, from the nursery all the way through high school. Whether you love working with kids or encouraging teens, there’s a place for you here. Reach out to Gerald Volk to get involved.

Float

Our Float volunteers are the flexible helpers who jump in wherever needed, from covering classrooms, setting up for games, cleaning up after a meal, or lending a hand behind the scenes. If you’re willing to serve wherever God calls, this is the perfect fit. Talk with Gerald Volk to learn more about joining the team.

Sound/Tech Team

Our Sound and Tech Team keeps everything running smoothly behind the scenes: managing audio, lighting, slides, and all technical aspects during services and events. If you enjoy working with equipment or learning new skills, this team is for you. Connect with Dustin to get involved.

Media Team

The Media Team captures the heart of Watertown Christian Church through photos, videos, social media, and livestream. From storytelling to Sunday highlights, this team shares how God is working in our community. Talk with Kendra to learn more or shadow during a service.

Worship Team

Our Worship Team leads the congregation in praising God through music and song. Whether you sing, play an instrument, or have a heart for worship, there’s a place for you to serve and grow. Reach out to Marcus for details on how to join or audition.

Nursery Workers

Nursery volunteers care for our littlest members, creating a safe and loving space where parents can worship without worry. If you have a gentle heart and love working with babies and toddlers, connect with Kristina Johnson to learn more.

Children's Church Volunteers

Children’s Church volunteers make learning about Jesus fun and engaging for kids. From leading lessons to helping with crafts or songs, you’ll be planting seeds of faith that last a lifetime. Reach out to Kristina Johnson to get started.

Potluck Sunday Cleanup Crew

After a good meal and great fellowship, our Clean-Up Crew helps restore order with cheerful hearts. It’s a simple, practical way to serve and show gratitude for our shared time together.

Greeters

Greeters are the first friendly faces people see when they walk through our doors. This team helps everyone feel welcome and at home from the moment they arrive. If you love meeting new people and spreading joy, connect with Steve Brink.

Event Planning

The Event Planning Team helps organize and decorate for special gatherings throughout the year—from holiday celebrations to outreach events. If you enjoy creativity, coordination, and community, this team is for you. Contact Kendra Keil for more information.

Communion/Offering Servers

Communion and Offering Servers help lead an important part of our worship services with reverence and care. This role supports the heart of our fellowship and giving. If you’d like to participate, reach out to Steve Brink to learn more.
